 The committee to nominate candidates for members of the MFOA Board of Directors to be voted on at the 2012 annual meeting scheduled for the 1st Saturday in March has been appointed. The members are:

Social Schedule

The pool is scheduled to close on September 25.  The Friday night social schedule will now revert to one social per month. These socials will be oriented towards both adults and children. On the remaining Fridays socials at residents homes are being organized by the social committee. Several residents have already signed up to host a private social. Dates are still available.  If you would like to host a social in your home check for available dates under the events tab and contact Marian Erikson to get you name on the schedule. Hosts may choose to have either family oriented or adults only events. Check the wesite events section for dates.

Wine Tasting Seminars

Cathie Lane and Kathy Wilson have  organized a series of wine tasting seminars.  The format for the seminars will be viewing of a 30 minute DVD based lesson followed by a wine tasting.  There are 24 lessons in the series. The seminars will be held in private homes on a rotating basis.
